Premera Blue Cross

Improved Premera's internal healthcare management systems using C#, .Net Core, REST APIs, SQL Server, Dapper, integrating to 3rd Party and internal APIs.
Implemented new ETL data import features using external 3rd party and internal APIs
As the Tech Lead for our team I performed new technical designs, mentored junior developers, reviewed pull requests, and deployed Azure DevOps pipelines.

Intrado

As the architect overseeing three product teams, my responsibilities included shaping the technology and business strategy for launching the next-generation healthcare notification system. Additionally, I collaborated with the teams to streamline technical dependencies.
As the Tech Lead for several engineering teams, we used the following technologies: C#, .Net Core/EF Core, MVC, Azure, Azure SQL, SQL Server, JavaScript, TFS, Git, Jenkins.
I led the team in migrating existing .NET Framework applications and web services to the more modern .NET Core and EF Core. This team was responsible for the ETL engine, transforming incoming healthcare information and converting it to our internal data format.
Designed, built and implemented the move of existing monolithic services and APIs to Azure microservices using Azure SQL, Azure Functions and Service Bus. Built out Azure logical infrastructure, networking, configuration, authentication, and DevOps pipelines.
Mentored and collaborated with the teams for architecture design, creating and maintaining SAFe (Agile) epic/stories, code reviews, technical assistance, and managing deployments.

Total Merchant Services

TMS acquired all Registroid’s assets, and I was hired to continue the development of the Point of Sale / Payment processing system.
Led the redevelopment of Groovv Register, overseeing extensive redesigns of the Android app and back-office system, and transitioning from Azure to AWS.
Collaborated with product and UI/UX teams to ensure a successful and timely launch of Groovv Register.
Managed the implementation of a comprehensive Point of Sale/Payment processing system, Groovv Register, incorporating a native Android mPOS app and integrated credit card processing.

Registroid LLC

Leading the way in the mobile Android point-of-sale realm, Registroid LLC introduced the Registroid Cloud Point of Sale system, the very first comprehensive cash register app for Android devices on the Google Play Store.
Implemented a comprehensive back-office system hosted on Azure, featuring:
- Sales data management and reporting
- Internal billing and support functionalities
Managed a team responsible for sales and support.
Defined the company's technology vision.
